Back in 2011, a grant was made to the people of Borgne, Haiti, to start a sewing center. Our friends in Borgne requested this program because many young men and women had no work in their town. Being able to sew is in demand in Borgne – uniforms are worn by schoolchildren, nurses, college students, scouts, and more – uniforms are BIG. And most need to be made individually. And through the Sewing Program, many students from the area have acquired that skill!

But most of the sewing machines are on their last legs or no longer repairable. Would you like to help support purchase of new sewing machines to keep this valuable program alive?
