ACTIVE PROJECTS
Traveling Library
Books are rare in the rural countryside of Haiti, even within the schools. Our librarian and books travel by donkey to bring the joy of reading to students and schools in remote villages.
Music Program
Learning to play an instrument is good for the brain and keeps children out of trouble after school. In Haiti it can also be a way to earn income, playing holidays and funerals.
Sewing Program
Due to the large market for uniforms, Haitians can earn a decent income sewing and mending. Using treadle machines, our sewing instructors teach young women this valuable skill.
